here's a little story for you....

my dear sweet friend bailey wrote a little story that i would like to share with you. i believe its her take on a childhood tale, and worthy of some attention. so, with no further ado, i present......


if you give a mouse a cookie, he's gonna want a cup of milk. then he'll want to come inside to drink the milk. then he'll want to stay for dinner and dessert. then he'll want to stay to watch his favorite television program. then he'll fall asleep on the couch and wake up in the morning and want breakfast. then you have to drive him to school and pack him a brown bag lunch. then you pick him up from school and he needs a ride to the library to study. but you need to stay and read him a book and by this time of day it is snack time and he's gonna want another cookie. oh, and some milk...


its not every day at work that we have time to really appreciate each other. and when i saw this beautifully handwritten out on one of the day sheets, i couldn't help but tear it off. i've been pretty lucky to surround myself with some pretty amazing and talented people. and even though we don't often get to just 'hang' at work, i couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
