the couch that love built... and what a fine, fine couch. is it wrong to say that i spent most of my day, dreaming about this couch? is it? i couldn't wait to sit on it. to discover the many different ways to sprawl out on it. its no crime.

it was a chilly day, a somewhat dreary day. it was to be. a war. myself, in one corner, alone with the pillows, and the various sizes of non-labeled covers. i was determined to win... victory was to be mine...

in the end, there was no blood shed, no tears. just two broken nails, and a sweat worthy of burning at least 300 calories...

and at the very end of the very very end, i had one tired worker, who he himself, couldn't wait to begin the couching. i myself no exactly how he feels.

i've never been so happy to truly just sit and relax. and having someone special, big or small to do that with is worthy of the trouble it takes to get there. the pains of putting together a couch can be directly compared to the pains of making a relationship work. you have many pieces, and each one has a purpose and a place. without words, at times, trying to figure out each piece can be a tricky feat. but oh so worthy... the trials will wear on you. the fitting of each pillow to each specific cover is like the battle of trying to get inside another person's head and see what fits, and what you can work with. oh yes, this couch was built on love, and some good ol' fashioned team work. in homage to couches everywhere, here's some love.....
