you know that scene in the movie when she comes home, only to realize that her entire family has just been killed, and she's walking towards leon's door, crying silently. tears flowing, lips quivering, while her entire reality has just been revoked. everything she knows is lost forever, while she waits for the door to open. and then, the brightest light she may ever see suddenly blinds her eyes, and causes a light to glimmer on her wet cheeks. hope is restored, and alas she can step forward.

something about that light when the door opens gives me hope during my darker hours.
